Another arrest on Parkvale

And speaking of arrests on my street, also glad to see the latest side mirror smasher got caught. This is week old news at this point, apparently.
Michael Allen, 22, of 28 Ashford St., Allston was arrested on Oct. 23, at approximately 2 a.m. for allegedly punching and damaging the side view mirrors on 15 parked vehicles on Park Vale Avenue, Allston.
Dude, 15 cars? What’s wrong with you? Was speaking last night to someone whose cars was vandalized – the amount for repair for his car came to just under the $500 deductible. I don’t understand any possible motivation for this unless you were a off-the-charts militant cyclist or worked for a car repair shop. That’s like seven grand of new business drummed up in 30 seconds of asshattery.

I hate people that do this kind of stuff. I bet at least half of those people don’t have the money to fix this. I think they “kid” (I say it because hes young and dumb) should have to pay back every penny for the repairs. Maybe by the time he pays it back he will have learned a valuable life lesson and won’t do this again.
