I don’t have real cable is the lack of NESN (so am forced to listen to the Red Sox on the radio) but also will miss out on a local new boxing show from Metropolitan Pictures.
The natural drama created by the agonies of intense, in-your-face training is constantly peppered with sparring and punches so close and visceral fans will positively feel them. The story follows fighters Hector Hernandez on his quest for the Rocky Marciano title belt and Tommy Duchette on his journey to the National PAL Tournament and more, all leading up to the Fight Night Finale and Duchette’s bid in November for his third New England Welterweight crown.
You, being quite clever and ever-seeking the bright lights of fame, still have time to find a way write yourself into the last episode.
The “Fight Night Finale” event (which will be filmed for the final episode) is open to the public and will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 11, at 6:30pm at Boston Boxing, 8 Rugg Road in Allston.
The whole thing will start airing at 10:30 on Wednesdays beginning on 12/23 (christmas eve’s eve!).
