Feral cats please

At risk of seeming fixated on vermin, finally, someone mentions the obvious solution to Allston’s skyrocketing rat population. Klondike can’t do it on her own. It’s either going to be this or squads of trained hawks because they’re too smart for poison, people.
Though she has yet to see a live rat on her property, Clifford said her cat, Fenway, has been bringing dead ones to her yard for the past year or so.
“We used to have a feral cat problem — now we have this,” she said.
Which is worse?
“The rats,” Clifford said. “Definitely.”
