Foss Fest update

A quick Foss Fest reminder – the lineup for bands is set for next Sunday, July 25th, and Allston’s own Kieran Ridge Band is closing the show from 3-4pm. Please come by and say hi, Foss Park in Somerville. Assuming we’re not all tubing down a flash-flooded Broadway to Sullivan Square. Actually that’d be fun too.

BTW, it’s last minute but we have space for a few more vendors. If you’re interested in selling your art or doing something interactive with kids, please drop a line to fossfestvendors at gmail.com. Tables are cheap.

A quick cross-post for WHR. Foss Fest is happening earlier this year (on July 25th, as part of the Somerstreets program). The organizer is looking for bands & vendors from Somerville & surrounding communities – if you’re interested you can contact him at fossfest@gmail.com.

I just noticed that The Diamond Mines (one of the Foss Fest bands) is playing at O’Brien’s tomorrow, along with Left Hand Does and Ovlov. Tickets are eight bucks.

Also – these guys were on WMBR’s Pipeline late last year. You can stream to that set here.

From our ugly step-sister blog over at Winter Hill Reborn, information on the lineup for the inaugural Foss Fest was (finally!) released. It’s a new half-day outdoor festival type thing, free to all, September 5th from 2pm to 6pm. Please bring canned food for the Somerville Homeless Coalition.

These guys will all be playing at various points throughout the afternoon.

Should be fun, stop by if you’re in the neighborhood.
