This Saturday in Ringer Park. For more information… And yes, the typo in our city name below is pretty amusing but JUDGE NOT because that’ll come around to bite you some day.

April 26th, by Parents and Community Build Group and Boston Shines -

Mayor Menino’s year-round neighborhood clean up and community service program, Boston Shines 365, provides the tools and materials to help volunteers successfully complete projects in every neighborhood in Boston.

The Church at the Gate is meeting at Roppongi, & distributing compact fluorescents.

We will be giving away 1500 light bulbs very soon that will save the neighborhood $54,000 in energy costs and enough energy to power a medium sized home in Allston for more than 300 years. We will also be doing trash pickup around Allston Village and in Ringer Park throughout the year and we will be doing activities for the children during the summer.
