Interesting piece on The Dead Trees in Pop Rock Candy Mountain where they discuss recording sit fuzzy at Basement 247.

We wanted to make a John Lennon Christmas song. We recorded it with Jack Younger at his studio Basement 247, in Allston MA. It’s going to be on his Christmas compilation this upcoming Christmas. We enlisted a little help from some of our friends in Frank Smith, Boy Without God, Danson Manson, Emeen Z and even some parents, to re-create that echo-chamber Phil Spector type thing.
